  2. Appointment of the Election Commission, on the following conditions:\n
      \n
    • The Commission shall consist of 3 members.<\/li>\n
    • Submission of their consent in writing.<\/li>\n
    • They have not held any office in the Association for preceding two years;<\/li>\n
    • They shall not be entitled to become candidate in the election, which they are conducting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n

2)<\/td>\nDisplay and submission of Election Schedule within 2 days of approval of the Executive Committee:<\/p>\n

  1. Display of Election schedule at the Notice Boards of Head Office and Regional office of the Association;<\/li>\n
  2. Display of Election Schedule at the Website; and<\/li>\n
  3. Submit to the Regulator<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n

3)<\/td>\nThe member companies if desiring to change their representatives shall intimate the change (if any) to the Secretary General within 3 days of the announcement of Election Schedule.<\/td>\n18-07-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
4)<\/td>\nDisplay election schedule within 7 days, the provisional list of all members eligible to vote along with their NTN, Sales Tax Numbers, the name and NIC number of the representative. The list shall be displayed at:<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. the notice boards of Head Office and regional offices; and<\/li>\n
  2. the Website of the Association.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n

5)<\/td>\nObjection (if any) by members to the entries in the list of voters shall send to the Secretary General in writing within 7 days of the release of Voters List.<\/td>\n31-07-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
6)<\/td>\nAction and intimation by Secretary General on the objections within 5 days from the receipt of such objection.<\/td>\n05-08-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
7)<\/td>\nAny person aggrieved by the decision of the Secretary General shall make representation within 3 days to the election commission.<\/td>\n08-08-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
8)<\/td>\nDecision of election commission within 3 days on the cases referred to them.<\/td>\n12-08-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
9)<\/td>\nAny person aggrieved by decision or failure of the Election Commission to decide may appeal to the Regulator within 3 days.<\/td>\n15-08-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

12)<\/td>\nSubmission of nomination papers (duly proposed by the registered voter and signed) to the Secretary General within 4 days of display of final list of voters.<\/td>\n02-09-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
13)<\/td>\nWithin 24 hours (one day) of receipt of nomination papers, a copy of the final list of voters shall be provided to each contesting candidate.<\/td>\n03-09-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
14)<\/td>\nDisplay of the list of contesting candidates within 1 day (twenty four hours) from the last date of receipt of nomination papers.<\/td>\n04-09-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
15)<\/td>\nThe objections on the list of contesting candidates shall be filed with the Election Commission within 24 hours (one day of issuance of the list of contesting candidates.<\/td>\n05-09-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
16)<\/td>\nDecision of the Election Commission on such cases within 2 days.<\/td>\n07-09-2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  2. approval of audited accounts;<\/li>\n
  3. appointment of auditors;<\/li>\n
